Privacy Policy
SteadyMind protects the information entrusted to us by families, educators, and health professionals. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have to control your data. We keep the language clear so you can focus on your attention practice rather than decoding legal jargon.

1. Information We Collect
We collect information that helps us deliver personalized focus training experiences. This includes:
- Account details such as name, email address, role (parent, educator, coach), and organization.
- Profile and assessment data provided during onboarding or recorded as you complete exercises, including attention scores, session length, and progression milestones.
- Usage insights like device type, app version, and interaction logs that help us improve accessibility and performance.
- Optional wellness integrations (for example, heart-rate variability) shared when you connect approved devices or services.
2. How We Use Your Information
SteadyMind uses personal data to:
- Deliver tailored exercise plans and adaptive coaching recommendations.
- Send session reminders, progress updates, and important account notices.
- Analyze anonymized trends to refine our curriculum and measure effectiveness.
- Maintain platform security, prevent account misuse, and troubleshoot technical issues.
We do not sell personal data. When we share anonymized insights with therapists, schools, or partner researchers, we strip out names and other identifiers so individuals cannot be traced.
3. Data Retention and Control
You control how long we keep your information. Core account data remains active while you use SteadyMind. You may request deletion at any time, and we remove personal identifiers within 30 days unless legal obligations require otherwise (for example, resolving billing records).
You can access, update, or export your data by contacting privacy@steadymind.com. Administrators for organizations can manage participant records through the dashboard.
4. Security Practices
We use industry-standard safeguards such as encryption in transit, role-based access controls, and regular security audits. Our team follows least-privilege principles, and all staff receive ongoing privacy training. If we suspect unauthorized access, we notify impacted users and authorities as required.
5. Children's Privacy
SteadyMind supports focus training for learners under 18. We collect data about minors only with verifiable parental, guardian, or school consent. Youth profiles are linked to an adult account, and we provide transparent progress reports so caregivers stay informed.
6. Policy Updates
We review this policy regularly and post updates on this page. Material changes—such as introducing a new data-sharing partner—will be communicated via email or in-app notices before taking effect.
